ASI Bhupinder Singh, the Personal Security Officer (PSO) deployed in the security detail of Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister Anil Vij, sang a Punjabi patriotic song in front of the minister.
Bhupinder Singh performed the song while playing the tumbi, a traditional musical instrument associated with Punjab’s folk music.
He sang the lines:
““कैन्दे गोरया मुकद्दमा करया भगत सिंह सूरमें ते, दफा ला के 302 दी ते फांसी वाली सजा कर ती गोरे जज ने, जज ने सुना दीता फैसलां, सुन-सुन बोले सूरमां, मक्खना देश नूं आजाद करके असीं रखना……””
Energy Minister Anil Vij openly praised the patriotic song sung by ASI Bhupinder Singh and patted him on the back in appreciation.
It is noteworthy that Bhupinder Singh has previously performed many memorable songs while playing the tumbi. Along with fulfilling his security duties in the police department, his passion for singing is truly remarkable.
