Bishnoi’s Book “Unkahe Lamhe” Released at Lekhak Manch of World Book Fair

The book “Unkahe Lamhe” by young author and storyteller Vikas Bishnoi was officially released at the  Lekhak Manch during the 53rd World Book Fair, which commenced on Saturday at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The book has been published by Ink Publication Prayagraj.

Speaking at the book release ceremony, Dinesh Kushwaha, representative of Ink Publication, described Vikas Bishnoi as a sensitive and promising young writer. He stated that Bishnoi’s deep understanding of human relationships, emotions, and inner conflicts at such a young age is the greatest strength of his storytelling. “His writings are not merely read; they are deeply felt by the readers,” he added.

The programme was conducted by noted writer Savita Singh ‘Saivi’, who remarked that “Unkahe Lamhe” narrates those emotional moments where relationships carry both sweetness and unspoken pain. She said the book takes readers on an emotional journey in which they can easily relate their own life experiences.

Expressing gratitude to readers, author Vikas Bishnoi said that the book is an expression of emotions that often remain unspoken. He expressed hope that “Unkahe Lamhe” would find a special place in the hearts of readers. The audience present at the event highly appreciated the story collection.

During the same programme organised by Ink Publication at the Lekhak Manch, several other books were also released, including “Yaad Tumhari” by Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan Award-winning poet Monika Sharma, “Shayar Ka Ghar” and “Watan Ki Mitti” by Sonu Chauhan, “Manu–Firdaus” by Saras Azad, poetry collection “Geeli Mitti” by Alankrita Rai, “Roopantara” by Surbhi Jain, and “Sarakti Parchhaiyan” by Jayanti Sen Meena.

3000 stalls and more than 600 literary programmes at World Book Fair

It is noteworthy that the 53rd World Book Fair is being held from 10 to 18 January. More than 1,000 publishers from over 35 countries, including Russia, Spain, Japan, Poland, France, Abu Dhabi, Iran, Kazakhstan, Hungary, and Chile, are participating in this international event. The fair features over 3,000 stalls and more than 600 literary programmes.
