Defeat traditional parties, SAD-BJP and Congress for the welfare of Punjab: Brahmpura
Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksali) president and MP Ranjit Singh Brahmpura on Friday have made it clear that “There is no question of support to traditional parties such as SAD-BJP and Congress who caused a huge loss to state,” Brahmpura said in a press release issued here.
“SAD-BJP have badly dented the image of Sikh institutions including Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak committee (SGPC) while Congress had demolished the religious places of Sikh community besides 1984 massacre. I appeal the masses to stand up against these two parties and try the judicious use of their vote. They can cast their vote to any candidate whose career is unblemished and is best suited candidate for the welfare of the state DSin all the constituencies of Punjab,” Brahmpura said.
“The voice of the people is the voice of God.” Now people across the state are saying that both the Badals and Captain Amarinder Singh are playing a friendly match. I also believe it. But whatever Badals do, their guilty conscience is shaking them entirely. They are behind the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib and Behbal Kalan police firing on the peaceful protesters and granted pardon to “Pakhandi Saadh of Dera Sirsa Ram Rahim” they must go behind the bars. They are trying to catch any straw while drowning politically,” said Brahmpura.
“SAD (Taksali) candidate from Anandpur Sahib constituency, Bir Devinder Singh is very honest, intellectual and politician with clean image, these kind of politicians are rare now a days. So I the people of Anandpur Sahib to cast the vote in his favour and send him to Lok Sabha so that he can make some valuable contribution there. In Khadoor Sahib we support Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra because the sacrifice made by her family towards the Sikh community has no match. So people of Majha, must listen to the voice of their conscious and cast their vote in her support and Punjab people would teach a lesson to both Badals and Congress.

About contesting on only one seat, Brahmpura said that as they were only two months old party while elections were announced, so they could not make contest from many seats.
