Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij said that the state government is soon going to procure electric buses under the Green Energy initiative, and orders in this regard have already been issued. He added that the present government is functioning very well, taking care of every section of society, while also maintaining firm control over law and order.
Vij further said that by appointing BJP’s new young National President Nitin Nabin, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has, in a way, put politics on a “bullet train,” as people now prefer the politics of development.
Vij was responding to questions from media persons in Panipat today.

Responding to a question related to development and management in the Transport Department, he said that the government is continuously working to improve the transport system. At the same time, pollution is a major concern, which is why the government wants to promote green energy-based vehicles as much as possible. In this direction, the government plans to operate electric buses in large numbers.
*Charging Stations to Have Restaurants, Rest Rooms and Washrooms for Families: Vij*
He said that people’s inclination towards electric cars is also increasing, and therefore more electric charging stations are needed. The government is moving forward in this direction and work is underway to build electric charging stations. He added that such charging stations should also have facilities for families to stay while vehicles are being charged. Facilities such as restaurants, rest rooms and washrooms should be available for family members, as recharging vehicles takes time. He also informed that work on an electric bus charging station is being carried out by the Transport Department in Panipat.

Replying to a question on law and order in Haryana, he said that around 5,000 anti-social elements have been arrested and sent to jail, and law and order is fully under control. He said that if any incident occurs, the police reach the spot within minutes. He recalled that Dial 112 service was launched during his tenure as Home Minister, and now Dial 112 vehicles reach the incident site within seven to eight minutes.

Responding to a question regarding the appointment of newly elected BJP National President Nitin Nabin, Vij said that this is the era of Gen-Z, and by appointing a young National President, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put politics on a fast track. He said that people now want development, and the BJP government has delivered development in every sector. This is why India’s growth rate has now reached third or fourth position globally.

He said that elections in West Bengal are approaching and the Bharatiya Janata Party will hoist the victory flag there with 100 percent certainty. He claimed that BJP has shut down the offices of all other parties and that no one is paying attention to them anymore. He said that the Congress party has become a fragmented party with several groups within it. Taking a jibe at Congress, Vij quoted a song, “The one who is sold has no buyer,” implying that Congress is now finished.

Responding to a question on Congress’s political activity, Vij said that the Congress party has now come to an end. He said that BJP has won elections in Haryana, Delhi, Bihar, and now in Maharashtra’s BMC elections, while Congress has lost in these places. He added that wherever elections are held in the future, BJP will win because Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the direction of politics. Earlier, politics revolved around false slogans like “Garibi Hatao,” but now the Prime Minister has shown results through work and development, and people trust him.

Responding to questions on Opposition Leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda raising objections to the Lado Lakshmi Scheme, Vij took a dig and said that Hooda seems to be under a lot of depression. Clarifying the scheme, he said that on public demand and keeping family conditions in mind, the government has provided Rs 1,100 in cash and deposited an additional amount in bank accounts. He said the government will now save Rs.1,000 for all eligible beneficiaries, which will be available to families whenever needed.
