Former Deputy Chief Minister and MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, referring to the forensic investigation report of a viral video conducted at a Gurugram lab, made serious allegations against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government, and some police officials. He said that in this case, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann should immediately resign and a case should be registered under the new sacrilege law, because the Chief Minister is the head of the administrative system and the police department functions under him. He alleged that there was a conspiracy to discredit Sri Akal Takht Sahib. According to the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the Chief Minister should be boycotted.
He said that the police officials involved in this case should be immediately dismissed from service. He also demanded legal action against Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and AAP spokesperson Baltej Pannu, who held a press conference on the alleged fake forensic report, so that in the future no institution or individual dares to challenge the dignity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
Randhawa said that recent developments have made it clear that the Chief Minister does not respect the principles of the Panth and the supremacy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. He alleged that to discredit Guru maryada and the decisions of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, two senior police officers went to Gurugram and got a fake forensic report prepared. This is not merely about protecting one individual, but a serious attempt to challenge the dignity of Sikh institutions.
He said that while Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann may have political differences with the Jathedars, no one can question the supremacy and dignity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. If the Chief Minister already knew that the Jathedars were working for a political party, then why did he try to prove himself innocent by calling the viral video AI-generated during his appearance? This clearly shows that he lied at the time and attempted to hide the truth.
He called upon every minister, MLA, and official of the Aam Aadmi Party to clarify their position in this matter. He asked whether they stand with lies and deception or with the dignity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and truth. They must decide whether they will support the honor of Punjab and the Sikh Panth or become part of politics that defames institutions to save one person’s position.
In the end, Randhawa also questioned the silence of Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. He asked why Kejriwal is silent now. He said that this is not a matter of any political party, but of the dignity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and the honor of the Sikh Panth. All political parties, religious organizations, and aware sections of society should come together to protect its dignity and prestige.
