Chandigarh, Former IPL star and HIIMS Hawks captain Manan Vohra’s form continues with another commanding innings as HIIMS Hawks registered a convincing 29-run victory over Chandigarh Kings in the Omaxe Chandigarh Premier League 2026 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula on Monday.
Batting first after Chandigarh Kings elected to field, HIIMS Hawks posted a competitive total of 169 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs. The foundation of the innings was laid by Vohra, who once again led from the front with a brilliant 89 off 55 deliveries studded with nine boundaries and four sixes.Nipunn Sharda provided valuable support with a steady 31 while Chiragvir Dhindsa was unbeaten on 16 off just nine balls. For Chandigarh Kings, Rohit Dhanda and skipper Shivam Bhambri claimed two wickets each.
In reply, Chandigarh Kings started positively through captain Shivam Bhambri, who struck a quickfire 39 off 22 balls. Adhiraj Singh (18) and Akshit Rana (20) also made useful contributions, but the batting unit failed to build substantial partnerships as the chase progressed.

Chasing a challenging target of 182, Rock Garden Warriors found themselves under pressure at 106/6 in the 15th over. With the match hanging in the balance, Raman Bishnoi walked in at No. 7 and turned the game on its head with a breathtaking unbeaten knock of 53 runs off just 21 deliveries. His innings was studded with six boundaries and three towering sixes. Prashant Ahlawat chipped in with 35 and skipper Dipender Kush added 27 before Raman Bishnoi’s heroics stole the spotlight.
Earlier, Tricity Bashers posted a competitive 181 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs. Sanyam Saini led the charge with a well-crafted 55 off 33 balls while Ankit Kaushik contributed 38. Rajveer Sehgal also provided momentum with a quickfire 29 from 12 deliveries.
