Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Monday addressed students at the state-level event of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha-2025’, encouraging them to embrace challenges with confidence and determination. Speaking at the event held at Shaheed Major Anuj Rajput Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Sector-20, Panchkula, he emphasized that overcoming challenges leads to greater success and personal fulfillment. The Chief Minister also shared his own experiences, highlighting that greater the challenge, the more fulfilling is the journey to overcome it. He also shared key success mantras with students, encouraging them to embrace challenges rather than fear them. *CM pays tribute to Martyr Major Anuj Rajput* Prior to the programme, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes to the statue of Martyr Major Anuj Rajput in the school premises. On this occasion, the martyr's father, Sh. Kulvansh, and mother, Smt. Usha Rohilla, were also present. During the event, the Chief Minister, along with students of Class 10 and 12 from various schools in the district, watched the live telecast of Prime Minister's ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha-2025’ programme from Delhi. BJP State President, Sh.Mohan Lal Badoli was also present on this occasion. *Prime Minister is a role model for students* The Prime Minister interacted with students from various parts of the country and shared valuable insights on how to remain stress-free and perform their best during exams. He also addressed their queries and concerns related to examinations. He emphasized that students can face any challenge in life by remaining focussed. Speaking on the importance of Pranayama in daily life, he highlighted that regular practice instills remarkable energy in the human body and helps maintain good health. He urged parents to understand their children's aspirations and abilities and support them in choosing the right path in life. The Prime Minister also advised teachers not to compare one student with another, as it may lower their confidence. The students expressed that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi is a role model for crores of students across the country. They assured that they would incorporate his guidance into their lives and strive to give their best performance in the upcoming examinations. *Students must embrace the key mantras given by the Prime Minister and move forward successfully in their lives-CM* The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi interacts directly with students every year before their exams, encouraging them to give exams without stress. Along with students, the Prime Minister also guides their parents and teachers to help maintain the students’ confidence during exam time, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini. He said that in today’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme, the Prime Minister discussed 21 different topics, covering not only education but also health, environmental conservation, and skill development to raise awareness among students. The Chief Minister urged students to watch the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme with their parents, as it would help reduce exam-related pressure. He expressed confidence that students will embrace the key mantras given by the Prime Minister and move forward successfully in their lives. *CM extends best wishes to class 10 and 12 students for upcoming exams* The Chief Minister expressed his pleasure at being among students in Panchkula today. Wishing Class 10 and 12 students success in their upcoming exams, he remarked that the challenges they face today were once faced by many, including himself. Recalling the pre-2014 system, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that back then, even the most hardworking students did not get their due rewards. However, after 2014, Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and the Haryana government took on this challenge and transformed the system, creating a favorable environment for education. He highlighted that today, students are seen working hard everywhere, and the youth’s trust in the government has strengthened. Unlike before, students no longer need to approach MLAs or Ministers for employment after completing their education. Under the state government’s transparent recruitment process, youth are now securing government jobs purely on merit, without ‘Parchi Kharchi’, said the Chief Minister. *State Government focusing on providing quality education, skill development, youth earning crores through startups* The Chief Minister said that the present state government is not only emphasizing on providing quality education but also focusing on skill development for the youth. He said that today, Haryana’s youth are becoming self-reliant by pursuing education alongside startup ventures. The Chief Minister said that ahead of the upcoming budget, he has held pre-budget discussions with various stakeholders to incorporate valuable suggestions. As part of this process, he recently interacted with young entrepreneurs who have successfully launched startups while continuing their studies. During the discussion, some of these youth shared their experiences, revealing how they built multi-crore businesses from zero investment. Their success stories reflect the hard work and dedication of Haryana’s young generation, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini. *Study with complete dedication and stay away from bad company bad company* On this occasion, the Chief Minister urged the youth to focus on their studies with hard work and dedication while avoiding bad company. He emphasized that taking the wrong path not only darkens their future but also brings immense suffering to their parents. He called upon the youth to take a pledge today to stay away from drugs and lead a responsible life. *Teachers play a pivotal role in the holistic development of students* The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the School Education Department, the Principal, and the staff of Major Anuj Rajput Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Sector-20, Panchkula, for the successful organization of the event. No.IPRDH/2025 ****** *Haryana to extend full cooperation to State EC for smooth conduct of municipal elections: Chief Secretary* *4,469 polling booths set up, total 45,26,227 registered voters to exercise their franchise in elections* Chandigarh, February 10 – Haryana Chief Secretary Dr Vivek Joshi has assured State Election Commissioner Sh. Dhanpat Singh that the administration will extend full support in conducting the upcoming Municipal Bodies elections in a free, fair, transparent and peaceful manner. The Haryana State Election Commissioner along with the Chief Secretary jointly presided over a meeting here today regarding preparations for General Elections of Municipal Bodies in the state. During the meeting, Sh. Dhanpat Singh apprised that the State Election Commission has decided to conduct of General Elections of 08 Municipal Corporations, 04 Municipal Councils & 21 Municipal Committees and bye-elections of 02 seats of Mayors i.e. Mayors of Municipal Corporations, Ambala and Sonepat; 03 seats of Presidents i.e. President, Municipal Council, Sohna (Gurugram); Municipal Committee, Assandh (Karnal) & Municipal Committee, Ismailabad (Kurukshetra) and 03 seats of Members i.e. Ward No. 11 of Municipal Committee, Ladwa (Kurukshetra); Ward No. 14 of Municipal Committee, Safidon (Jind) & Ward No. 05 of Municipal Committee, Taraori (Karnal). As per election schedule, polling of votes for the general/bye-elections of these municipal bodies will be held on March 2 (except Municipal Corporation, Panipat). The polling of votes for the Mayor and Ward Members of Municipal Corporation, Panipat will be held on March 9. The State Election Commissioner further informed that there will be total 644 wards in total 33 Municipal Bodies where polling will be conducted, including 78 reserved for Schedule Castes, 55 reserved for Scheduled Castes in women, 29 for Backward Classes (A), 34 for Backward Classes (A) in women, 08 for Backward Classes (B), 30 for Backward Classes (B) in women, 111 for Women and 299 for Unreserved categories. The State Election Commissioner said there were a total of 45,26,227 registered voters across 33 municipalities, excluding Panipat. This includes 24,03,004 male voters, 21,23,072 female voters, and 151 transgender voters. The municipal bodies comprise 21 municipal committees, 4 municipal councils, and 8 municipal corporations, with 4,469 polling booths set up for the elections. During the meeting, extensive discussions on the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct, Law and Order, Power Supply, Water Supply and Sanitation, Health Services, Excise and Taxation and other matters were also held. Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department, Sh. Vineet Garg, Commissioner & Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Sh. Vikas Gupta, Commissioner & Secretary, Public Health Engineering, Mohammed Shayin, Additional Director (Admn), Information, Public Relations and Languages, Smt.
