    Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini reached the state-level workshop of the BJP at the Seva Sadhna Kendra in Samalkha on Wednesday. Talking to journalists, he informed that on the occasion of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will give two big gifts to Haryana as the airport located in Hisar will be inaugurated and the foundation stone of 800 MW power unit will be laid in Yamunanagar. The Chief Minister said the people of the state will welcome the Prime Minister with open hearts. He said the Prime Minister has strengthened India's position at the global level and is engaged in the mission of creating a ‘Viksit Bharat’. The triple engine government in the state is carrying out development works at three times the speed following the principle of ‘Viksit Bharat-Viksit Haryana’. He said extensive arrangements are being made for the preparation and arrangements of the programme regarding the Prime Minister's visit. On April 5, a meeting will be held with all the ministers, MLAs and district presidents of the state in Rohtak and the duty of the officials will be assigned. He said the central government is going to introduce the Waqf Bill, after the implementation of which there will be no dispute regarding the Waqf Board. Regarding the arrival of crops in mandis, the Chief Minister said the state government stands with farmers. All preparations have been completed in the mandis regarding the arrival of the crop. All officers have been instructed to ensure lifting within 48 hours and that the money for the crop is sent to the farmers' accounts within the stipulated period. Officials should also ensure to provide basic facilities to farmers in the mandis. The Chief Minister congratulated the people of the state on Navratri and also wished for good health of the people. Development and Panchayat Minister Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar, Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Sh. No. IPRDH/2025 Vipul Goel chairs joint meeting of Faridabad Municipal Corporation & Electricity Department   Chandigarh, April 2 - Haryana Cabinet Minister Sh. Vipul Goel said the state government is fully committed to the development of cities and development works will be done at a faster pace in the coming time. Sh. Vipul Goel today chaired a joint meeting of all the newly elected councillors of Faridabad, Municipal Corporation officials and senior officials of the Electricity Department. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Sh. Rajesh Nagar was also present in this meeting. The objective of this meeting was to establish better coordination between all the departments and public representatives so that development works of the wards can be conducted smoothly and high-quality facilities can be provided to the citizens of Faridabad. Sh. Vipul Goel directed the officials of the Municipal Corporation and Electricity Department to work in coordination with all the councillors and not keep any development project pending unnecessarily. He also directed the officials that whatever development work is currently going on, it should be completed within the stipulated time frame. If there is unnecessary delay in any work, it will be considered as negligence of the concerned officer and appropriate action will be taken against him. Priority on preventing waterlogging The Cabinet Minister clarified that the drainage system should be repaired in time so that people do not face any kind of inconvenience during the rainy season. In this context, he directed the Municipal Corporation officials to start the work of cleaning drains and sewer lines with immediate effect and monitor it regularly. He also reviewed water supply, sanitation system, health services and other basic facilities and directed all the concerned departments to work together so that citizens can get better services.  Instructions to electricity department The minister instructed the officials of the Electricity Department to make all the necessary preparations before the upcoming summer and monsoon so that quick solution can be found in any emergency situation. He said all the necessary equipment should be kept available in repair storage and an action plan should be prepared to maintain smooth power supply system. He also directed that in case of any technical fault, action should be taken as soon as possible so that citizens do not face any problem. No. IPRDH/2025 Health Minister Arti Singh Rao meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi Chandigarh, April 2 - Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao met Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi in New Delhi today and discussed health projects in Haryana. Union Minister of State for Statistics and Program Implementation, Planning and Corporate Affairs Sh. Rao Inderjit Singh was also present on the occasion. Arti Singh Rao said she took blessings from Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi and requested for cooperation in increasing health facilities in the state. She informed the Prime Minister that in the year 2015, when he started the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign from Panipat, at that time the sex ratio in Haryana was only 871 girls as compared to 1000 boys, but thanks to the Prime Minister's call and the efforts of the Haryana Government, now this sex ratio has reached 910. Now, the state government is making dedicated efforts to equalize this ratio. She said the matter of Waqf is not related to religion but to the protection of property, and the participation of people from the poor section and women will help in taking welfare measures in the interest of Muslim brothers and sisters. The Health Minister described Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi as the most popular leader of the world and said the Prime Minister cares for every section of the country. He has freed the sisters of the Muslim society from the black law of triple talaq. She said the Prime Minister is the biggest well-wisher of women and the poor sections. No. IPRDH/2025 Haryana Yuva Samvad Samaroh: A Laboratory for Shaping Future Policies Chandigarh, April 2:  Deputy Speaker of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Dr. Krishan Lal Middha, expressed his gratitude to all the representatives of the organization for organizing the Haryana Yuva Samvad 2025 program in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha. He also appreciated the Rajdhani Yuva Sansad for selecting Haryana as the host state for this program. In his address after inaugurating the two-day Haryana Yuva Samvad, Dr. Middha expressed that it is a matter of great fortune for him, as the Deputy Speaker of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, to have the opportunity to engage with the talented youth selected from all corners of the country in this August house. He emphasized that this platform is not only a space for discussion but also a laboratory for shaping future policies. Dr. Middha further highlighted that the venue of this conference is not just an ordinary platform but a confluence of the Constitution, dialogue, and sensitivity—a place where the vision for building the future of the state is conceived and brought to fruition. He mentioned that more than 60 youths, selected through three phases, are participating in the Haryana Yuva Samvad. These young participants will not only share their views but also offer insights into the direction society should take and express what the youth envision for the future. This platform will provide an opportunity to hear their perspectives. Dr. Middha expressed happiness that two important topics have been chosen for discussion—Development and Expansion in Haryana through digital medium and Women Empowerment in Haryana. He emphasized that when we talk about a digital Haryana, we must recognize an important point: for the world to change, not only must we embrace technology, but our way of thinking must also evolve. He further stated that today’s India is a young India, with enthusiastic youth eager to make a difference. He pointed out that if we reverse the word youth (Yuva), it becomes air (Vayu), and as we all know, air moves swiftly. He stated that the youth must aim to become job creators, not just job seekers. Dr. Middha emphasized that the 21st century is defined by our approach to technology. Today, farmers are able to test the soil of their fields online, students in remote villages can study online from world-renowned universities, and women entrepreneurs are managing their businesses through apps. He pointed out that we now need technical, digital, and administrative skills, as well as policies that are inclusive, equitable, and visionary. A new form of Haryana will emerge from the balance of these elements. He further added that social media should be used as a tool for solving societal problems, not creating fear. This vision of a digital Haryana can become a reality if youth like those present on this platform become the carriers of this change. Dr. Middha highlighted that the second topic of the Haryana Samvad, Women Empowerment in Haryana, is a very important and specific subject. He stressed that when we talk about women empowerment, we must remember that when women are given opportunities, it empowers not just the home but the entire nation. He further stated that the progress of a nation is not possible unless its women are educated, safe, and empowered. Dr. Middha emphasized that while laws are important, what we truly need is a mental revolution to bring about meaningful change. Congress MLA Smt Geeta Bhukkal, who was the key speaker in the Haryana Yuva Samvad program, said that youth is the bright future of the country. There was a time when literacy mission was run to increase literacy and knowledge.  Today we are in the era of e-governance. She said that the National Education Policy 2020 is being implemented. She said that today the subject matter is available in the form of e-content. We should stay updated with it, she added. No IPRDH/2025 Haryana Chief Secretary Emphasizes 100% Aadhaar Coverage Focus on Enrollment, Awareness, and Digital Adoption Special Enrollment Camps in Schools to Boost Aadhaar Registration Chandigarh, April 2 - Haryana Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi chaired a crucial meeting of the Unique Identification Implementation Committee (UIDIC) here today, stressing the need for 100% Aadhaar penetration across the state. To accelerate Aadhaar registration, Sh. Rastogi directed all departments including bankers and Department of Post to ensure the full activation of Aadhaar enrollment kits at the earliest. He emphasized the optimal utilization of available resources to make Aadhaar services more accessible. He further directed that special enrollment camps be conducted in both government and private schools to facilitate Aadhaar registration for students. Additionally, he urged the promotion of the M-Aadhaar App and My-Aadhaar Portal to enhance digital access for citizens. Highlighting the importance of Aadhaar-linked authentication, he asked the School Education Department to run awareness campaigns urging parents to complete Mandatory Biometric Updates (MBU) for their children at the ages of 5 and 15. He also directed all the departments of Haryana to ensure Aadhaar based authentication of beneficiaries of various services offered at Aadhaar Centers and other offices. He further directed that Aadhaar-based face authentication attendance system to be deployed across all government departments. During the meeting, Smt. Bhawna Garg, Deputy Director General, UIDAI Regional Office, Chandigarh, highlighted the need to increase Aadhaar enrollment among children aged 0-5 years. She proposed deploying Aadhaar kits at immunization centers, with collaboration between the Health Department and the Department of Women and Child Development (WCD) to ensure full coverage for young children. The meeting was attended by senior officials from various departments, including banking and postal representatives. No. IPRDH/2025 6300 km of roads will be repaired in next 6 months: Ranbir Gangwa Two agendas worth Rs 4.41 crore approved in meeting of High Powered Purchase Committee Chandigarh, April 2 - Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister Sh. Ranbir Gangwa said the department has made a special plan for the repair of Haryana's roads. Special action will be taken on this issue in the next 6 months and along with this, the network of roads in the state will be strengthened so that the public can travel better and easier. While talking to the media, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa said an action plan has been made to repair about 6300 km of roads under the Public Works Department (PWD). The work will be done through special tenders. It is noteworthy that during the budget session, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini had announced in the House that within the next 6 months, all the roads will be repaired as per the requirement. Sh. Gangwa gave instructions to the department officials to prepare a special plan to implement the Chief Minister's announcement on the ground. He said the government is working keeping in mind the convenience of the general public and the department is trying to provide better and high quality roads to commuters. Special instructions have been given to department officials that there will be no compromise on quality. Regarding the preparations to be made for drinking water in the summer season, he said all arrangements have been completed for this, and instructions have also been given to the officials of the concerned department to make alternative arrangements. Sh. Gangwa said a triple engine government is working in the state under the leadership of the Chief Minister and the government's effort is to make such schemes which benefit the public. Important decisions taken in meeting of High Powered Purchase Committee A meeting of the High Powered Purchase Committee for Public Health Engineering Department was held at the Chandigarh Secretariat on Wednesday. Three agendas were placed in the meeting of the Departmental High Powered Purchase Committee (DHPPC) chaired by Sh. Ranbir Gangwa and Education Minister Sh. Mahipal Dhanda. During the meeting, the committee interacted with the companies involved in the process regarding the purchase of bleaching powder, poly aluminum chloride and stainless steel skin. During this, two agendas worth Rs 4.41 crore for poly aluminum chloride and stainless steel skin were approved. Sh. Ranbir Gangwa said the objective of the government is that the public should get high quality facilities. No. IPRDH/2025 Haryana Excise & Taxation Department surpasses revenue target for FY 2024-25 Chandigarh, April 2 - Haryana Excise and Taxation Department has achieved a significant milestone in revenue collection for the Financial Year 2024-25, surpassing its budget target. Against the allocated target of Rs 61,950 Crore, the Department successfully collected Rs 63,371 Crore, achieving 102.3% of the set target. Sharing the information here today, an official spokesperson informed that SGST collections reached Rs 39,153 Crore, exceeding the budget target of Rs 37,500 Crore and registering an impressive 13.77% growth over the previous year (excluding cess). Similarly, Excise Duty collections stood at Rs 12,701 Crore, surpassing the budget target of Rs 12,650 Crore and marking a 12% increase from the previous year. Meanwhile, VAT and CST collections amounted to Rs 11,517 Cr, reflecting a 1.6% increase over last year’s figures. This outstanding performance in revenue generation underscores the department’s commitment to efficient tax administration, policy reforms, and economic growth, he added.

    In Haryana, Cyclothon 2.0 will be organized from April 5 to April 27 as part of Haryana’s drug de-addiction campaign, aimed at raising public awareness about the harm effects of substance abuse. This state-level initiative will commence in Hisar on April 5 and conclude in Sirsa on April 27. This was disclosed during a meeting chaired by Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini here today. MLAs, Mayors, Deputy Commissioners, District Superintendents of Police, and other dignitaries also attended the meeting via video conferencing. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the primary objective of the Cyclothon is to educate the youth about the harmful effects of drugs and protect them from substance abuse. He said that a similar event was organized last year, witnessing participation from 177,200 cyclists and 525,800 other individuals. He further stated that the Cyclothon will pass through all assembly constituencies of the state under the theme "Drug-Free Haryana." The Chief Minister urged all MLAs and administrative officers to ensure that ministers, MLAs, district administration officials, and other dignitaries are present at every location where the Cyclothon Yatra passes. Their presence will help maximize public awareness and encourage greater participation in the campaign against drug addiction. He also emphasized the need to involve Sarpanchs, Numberdars, village intellectuals, and, in particular, women and youth in welcoming the Yatra as it passes through their villages, further strengthening the movement for a Drug-Free Haryana. *Sarpanches from villages declared drug-free in Haryana should be felicitated* The Chief Minister directed that the Sarpanches from villages officially declared drug-free in Haryana should be felicitated during the Yatra. Additionally, arrangements should be made for them to share their experiences and insights with others. He emphasized the need to review the route taken by last year’s Cyclothon and ensure that, this time, the Yatra passes through villages that were not previously covered. This will help extend the reach of the statewide public awareness campaign against drug abuse. *Take cooperation of religious institutions to strengthen drug de-addiction campaign* The Chief Minister suggested that as part of this public awareness campaign, efforts should be made to engage with religious leaders, spiritual camps, and saints involved in drug de-addiction initiatives, seeking their support for the cause. He further instructed that local influencers and social media platforms be leveraged to maximize public outreach and ensure the Yatra’s objectives are met. Emphasizing the importance of feedback, he urged officials to gather insights from those associated with last year’s Cyclothon Yatra to strengthen this year’s "Nasha Mukt Haryana" campaign. He also invited suggestions from dignitaries and officials to enhance the effectiveness of the Yatra. During the meeting, it was informed that the Cyclothon Yatra will pass through schools, colleges, educational institutions, religious centers, and villages, facilitating discussions on Nasha Mukt Haryana. The campaign will also feature street plays, drug-free pledges, cultural programs, and other awareness activities at various locations. Those participating in the Cyclothon must register themselves on the Haryana Uday Portal. IPRDH/2025 *Chief Minister visits Maharaja Agrasen Hisar Airport* *Prime Minister's proposed visit to Hisar on April 14* Chandigarh, March 31 - In preparation for Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Hisar on April 14, Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini visited Maharaja Agrasen Hisar Airport on Monday to review the various ongoing works at the site. During the visit, he directed the officials overseeing the airport projects to expedite the ongoing works. He also directed the officers of district administration to make advance preparations ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit. It is significant to note that plans to launch passenger services from Hisar Airport to various states, including Ayodhya, are nearing fruition. A successful trial landing of Alliance Air’s passenger plane took place last Friday at Maharaja Agrasen Airport. The trial was conducted with a 72-seater ATR-72600 aircraft. After this trial landing, the path has been cleared for the operation of regular passenger flights from Hisar to Ayodhya and other destinations. Cabinet Minister Sh Ranbir Gangwa, MLA Sh Vinod Bhayana, and MLA Sh Randhir Panihar were also present during the visit. Harvinder Kalyan said that the youth should actively participate in politics and contribute significantly to the country's development. He stated that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi's vision of making India a Viksit Bharat by 2047 requires the involvement of young people. To make this dream a reality and to establish India as a global leader, it is essential for the youth to play their part. Sh. Harvinder Kalyan was addressing the young participants at the State-Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament Programme, organised by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Haryana Zone, at the Haryana Vidhan Sabha. He said that Parliament and the Vidhan Sabha are considered temples of democracy, where laws are made, policies are formulated, and plans for development are laid out. These institutions also allocate budgets to bring development initiatives to life. He also said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi envisions "One Nation, One Legislature" and efforts are being made to achieve this. As part of this mission, programmes for youth, women, panchayats, and cooperative societies will soon be organised across Haryana and the entire country. Sh. Kalyan said that the 11 Sankalp taken on Constitution Day serve as a powerful oath to strengthen India’s constitutional values. These pledges remind us that the Constitution is not a static document but a dynamic framework that requires active participation from every Indian. During the event, Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Haryana Zone, Dr. Gurmail Singh Bajwa, welcomed the Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Harvinder Kalyan, with a bouquet of flowers. Nimisha Suryavanshi secured the first position in the programme, while Bhoomika came second, and Dakshita Gulia secured the third position. Dr. Gurmail Singh Bajwa said that the programme witnessed the participation of 87 young men and women from across the state. They expressed their views on 75 years of the Indian Constitution, the journey of officers, duty and progress, and the 11 resolutions of Constitution Day. He said the top three participants will attend the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament to be held in the Lok Sabha, Delhi, from April 2 to 3, 2025. No.IPRDH/2025 Chandigarh, March 31 : A meeting was held here today under the Chairmanship of Dr. Sumita Misra, Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Haryana, to review the large-scale mapping project in Haryana and the Tatima updation work on the Bhu-Naksha portal. During the meeting, Dr. Yashpal, Director, Land Records, informed that the large-scale mapping work in the state is progressing swiftly. As part of this project, the Svamitva Yojana has been successfully completed, and the focus has now shifted to mapping agricultural land and urban areas. This mapping initiative will assist the Haryana government in accurately demarcating land, allowing for precise identification of each land parcel, tracking changes, and detecting any illegal encroachments. It is known that, as part of this project, the state government purchased 300 Rovers through the GeM portal in 2023, which have been distributed across all districts. These Rovers will facilitate easy land identification by connecting to a network of 19 CORS (Continuously Operating Reference Station) stations established by the Government of India throughout the state. In this regard, the Survey of India Department has trained 88 Kanungos and 335 Patwaris, including master trainers, across all 22 districts on the use of these Rovers, ensuring they can be effectively utilized at the local level. Under this project, the Tatima updation work is also progressing rapidly. Recently, the Tatima updation for 22 pilot villages was completed by the districts in collaboration with HARSAC. One village from each of the 22 districts will be made available online on the Bhu-Naksha portal on a pilot basis. Dr. Sumita Misra directed that these 22 villages will be launched as part of the pilot program by May 15, 2025. The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance transparency in land demarcation, which will greatly benefit farmers and landowners. Apart from this, as per the directions of the Chief Minister, all 22 districts under this project have identified 440 additional villages (20 villages in each district) for Tatima updation. The work of Tatima updation has already begun in these villages by the districts and the Survey of India Department. The state government will also soon purchase the necessary IT infrastructure to update the complete record of this project online and upload it onto the portal. This project is expected to be completed by August 2025. Apart from these, a National Cancer Institute has been established in Badsa, Jhajjar district, and an AIIMS is also being set up in Majra, Rewari district. Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the Agarwal community, following the ideals and principles of Maharaja Agrasen Ji, is running several humanitarian projects at this sacred place. Among these, Maharaja Agrasen Medical College has been serving patients for the past 36 years. Currently, the college has 100 MBBS seats and 85 postgraduate (PG) seats. He said that Maharaja Agrasen Ji was a great personality. From the Mahabharata era to the present day, he established a unique system of governance. 5,300 years ago, he laid the foundation of the idea that anyone who came to his city would become wealthy, have their own home, and live a dignified life. His vision was to nurture the values of the state, ensuring that no one in his kingdom went hungry, remained homeless, or was deprived of a means of livelihood, he said. Sh. Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, there were only seven AIIMS, six of which were established during Atal Ji's tenure. In this regard, two meetings have already been held between department officials and representatives of the Nagar Palika Karamchari Sangh. Providing information on the matter, a spokesperson for the Haryana Fire and Emergency Services Department stated that the concerns raised by the union through the demand letter were discussed in detail. The primary objective of this committee is to examine the cost of cultivation for major kharif and rabi crops in the state that contribute to the state's agricultural economy. A spokesman of Haryana Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran said that the State Government is committed to enhancing the welfare of farmers and ensuring that the state's agricultural sector remains robust, competitive and sustainable in the years to come. Through this committee, the government aims to craft policies that balance the interests of farmers, consumers and the state's economic priorities. He said that the committee, which will meet twice a year, has been tasked with evaluating the prevailing price policy, the cost of cultivation and offering comprehensive recommendations on the necessary actions to make the policy more effective and responsive to the needs of farmers in Haryana. The formation of this committee comes in response to the need for a sustainable and farmer-friendly price policy that ensures fair remuneration for agricultural produce, promotes crop diversification and addresses the challenges posed by rising production costs, he added. The spokesman said that examining the cost of cultivation, reviewing the price policy, providing recommendations and supporting farmer welfare are the key objectives of the Committee. He said that the committee will assess the current cost of cultivation for major crops grown in Haryana, taking into consideration factors such as input costs, labor, irrigation, and other related expenses. Besides, it will evaluate the existing price policy for crops and suggest improvements to ensure fair and remunerative prices for farmers, aligning with the cost of production. He said that based on its findings, the committee will provide recommendations to the State Government on strategic actions that can be taken to enhance the effectiveness of the price policy. Also, the committee will focus on ensuring that the price policy benefits farmers while addressing their economic needs and challenges, contributing to the growth of Haryana's agricultural sector.
