Anil Vij said that on the birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap—an enduring symbol of India’s pride and complete devotion to patriotism, a 12.5-foot-tall statue will be installed in Sadar Bazaar, Ambala Cantonment. Sharing this information with Media Persons, Sh. Vij said that he had released ₹50 lakh from his discretionary fund to the Municipal Council of Ambala Sadar for installing the statue, and it is being erected using that amount. He added that the statue weighs 16 quintals and is made of metal. The statue has already reached Ambala Cantonment and will be installed at Sadar Bazaar Chowk on May 9 at 11:00 AM. Meanwhile, Energy Minister Anil Vij inspected the installation site at Sadar Chowk today and held discussions with municipal officials regarding the setup. He directed that proper lighting arrangements be ensured around the statue so that it remains visually appealing at night.
